Yes. The map covers both parks and lets you start by choosing Yellowstone or Grand Teton. That helps you focus the map around the park, route, and wildlife day you are actually planning.

Does the map include routes?

Yes. Route planning helps you choose a starting direction instead of staring at the whole park at once. Routes are meant to help you plan a smarter drive, not guarantee a sighting.

Can I choose the wildlife I care about?

Yes. You can filter by species so the map focuses on the wildlife you care about, including moose, bears, bison, elk, wolves, birds, foxes, and more.

Does this help with seasonal planning?

Seasonal planning is coming soon. The goal is to help you understand how wildlife areas and routes may change through the year, so your plan matches the time of year you are visiting.

No. Wildlife moves, weather changes, roads close, and timing matters. The map helps you plan with better context, choose stronger starting areas, and move through the parks with more purpose.

Is this live wildlife tracking?

No. This is a wildlife planning map, not a live animal-tracking system. It is built around entries, field notes, habitat, timing, routes, and practical context so visitors can plan better without sending everyone to the same animal.

Can I use the map while I am in the park?

Yes. You can use the map on your phone or computer before your drive, at lodging, or while planning your next move in the park. Cell service changes by area, so open the map while you have a strong connection. It is best used before you head into low-service areas.

What happens after checkout?

After checkout, your access opens through your account. Use the Wildlife Map link on the site to enter the full map and start planning.

What if the map does not help my trip?

You have a 30-day money-back guarantee. Use the map for your trip. If it does not help you plan with more confidence, email within 30 days and support will take care of it.

Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms & Conditions form an agreement between you and Where The Wild Beasts Roam LLC.

By using this website, creating an account, purchasing access, downloading materials, or using the Wildlife Planner, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms also incorporate our Privacy Policy , our DMCA Copyright Policy , and the purchase-specific information shown to you during checkout.

About the Wildlife Planner

Where The Wild Beasts Roam provides a digital wildlife-planning product designed to help visitors plan wildlife days in supported parks and regions.

The Wildlife Planner may include suggested routes, interactive maps, wildlife observations, species filters, field notes, Places to Explore, directions links, Route PDFs, Field Guides, safety information, and related planning tools.

The Service is an independent planning and educational resource. It is not a professional guiding service, transportation service, emergency service, or substitute for current information from government authorities.

Wildlife moves. Information shown in the Planner does not mean an animal is currently present at a location.

Purchases, Pricing, and Lifetime Access

The price, payment type, access period, product, parks, regions, and features shown during checkout describe your purchase. The refund policy for the core Wildlife Planner is explained in Section 04 below.

Unless checkout clearly identifies a purchase as recurring before you authorize payment, the purchase is a one-time payment and does not automatically renew.

We will not convert a completed one-time purchase into a recurring subscription without your affirmative agreement to a new recurring transaction.

Lifetime Access means ongoing access to the purchased core Wildlife Planner for the commercial life of that product, subject to these Terms.

Lifetime Access does not mean the purchaser's natural lifetime and does not require every individual route, map layer, field entry, vendor, file format, interface, or technical feature to remain unchanged forever.

We may update, replace, improve, redesign, correct, or remove individual features or information while continuing to provide the purchased core product in a materially similar form.

Future core Planner updates may be included when we release them as part of the purchased product. Separately priced products, new geographic regions, premium services, or standalone products are not included unless we expressly say they are.

Accounts and Account Security

Some parts of the Service require an account.

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting your login credentials, maintaining access to the email address associated with your account, and notifying us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, paid access is licensed to the purchaser and may not be sold, rented, transferred, or shared with unrelated third parties.

We may require password resets or reasonable account verification when needed for fraud prevention, security, or account recovery.

Wildlife Information and No Live Tracking

Wildlife observations, map entries, photographs, field notes, routes, and related information may be historical, delayed, generalized, estimated, incomplete, or no longer representative of current conditions.

The Service does not provide live wildlife tracking or a real-time sighting feed.

A map pin, route, observation, photograph, or field entry does not mean an animal is currently present at that location.

Wildlife moves freely. Weather, season, traffic, food sources, habitat, human activity, road conditions, and chance can all affect what you experience.

We do not guarantee that you will see any particular animal, species, behavior, or wildlife activity.

Wildlife and Outdoor Risk

Wildlife viewing, photography, hiking, driving, and outdoor travel involve inherent risks.

The detailed wildlife, outdoor, driving, distance, and field-safety responsibilities associated with using the Planner are covered in our separate Wildlife Risk Acknowledgment .

By using the Wildlife Planner, you remain responsible for checking current park rules, road conditions, closures, weather, alerts, and other official information before and during your trip.

Personal Use and Prohibited Uses

Paid access, Route PDFs, Field Guides, field notes, map information, and other Company Content are provided for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not:

sell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute paid access
publicly post paid Route PDFs or Field Guides
systematically scrape or copy Company Content
bypass logins, paywalls, or access controls
use Company Content to operate a competing map, database, commercial tour, guide service, or directory without written permission
use the Service for unlawful wildlife activity, trespass, harassment, poaching, tracking people, or other unlawful conduct

Intellectual Property

The Service and Company Content are owned by Where The Wild Beasts Roam LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, contract, and other laws.

Company Content includes the website, branding, maps, route-planning logic, field notes, wildlife observations, route descriptions, photographs, videos, Route PDFs, Field Guides, graphics, software, selected data organization, and related materials.

Purchasing access gives you a limited right to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial wildlife planning. Ownership of the underlying content is not transferred to you.

Third-Party Services and Availability

The Service may use or link to third-party maps, directions, navigation services, payment processors, hosting providers, email services, analytics services, and other external services.

Those services operate under their own terms, privacy practices, availability, and technical limitations.

We do not control third-party routing, outages, data accuracy, privacy practices, road information, or service availability.

Interactive parts of the Wildlife Planner require internet access. Downloaded Route PDFs may remain available offline after they have been successfully saved to your device, but they do not update automatically.

Payments may be processed by services such as Stripe or PayPal. We do not store complete payment-card numbers on our own servers.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

We do not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, accurate, current, available offline, or compatible with every device.

We do not guarantee that a route, road, entrance, pullout, trail, viewing area, or destination will be safe, legal, open, accessible, or appropriate under current conditions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Where The Wild Beasts Roam LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Service, a purchase, or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:

$100; or
the amount you paid directly to the Company during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim

Nothing in these Terms limits a legal right or liability that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, operated by, or an official partner of the National Park Service, Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, or any government agency.

References to parks, roads, landmarks, wildlife, government information, and geographic locations are used for descriptive and informational purposes.

Changes to the Service and These Terms

We may update, correct, redesign, replace, or remove parts of the Service for accuracy, wildlife protection, safety, legal, operational, technical, or licensing reasons.

We may also update these Terms as the Service, our business, technology, vendors, or legal requirements change.

Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective or last-updated date.

We will not use a Terms update by itself to convert a completed one-time purchase into a subscription, create a new charge without consent, or eliminate a statutory consumer right.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Before filing a legal claim, you agree to provide written notice describing the dispute, the relevant account or transaction, and the requested resolution, and allow 30 days for an informal resolution attempt.

Subject to applicable law, legal proceedings that cannot be resolved informally must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Teton County, Wyoming, or the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming when federal jurisdiction exists.

Nothing in this section removes a consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
